We are a small, purpose-driven Labrador Retriever breeder located in Columbia, Tennessee, specializing in AKC Labrador Retrievers bred for the field and the home. Our journey began with our first Labrador, Bandit — the dog who sparked our passion and laid the foundation for Muletown Labradors.
Bandit’s exceptional ability in the field, paired with his calm, loyal Labrador temperament at home, showed us exactly what a well-bred Labrador Retriever should be. Today, Bandit is living out his days continuing his passion for retrieving waterfowl, a reminder of the qualities we strive to produce in every generation. That balance is the driving force behind our hunting Labrador breeding program today.
Our goal is simple: to produce healthy, well-bred Labrador Retriever puppies with strong natural ability, sound temperaments, and the versatility to excel as hunting companions, working dogs, and family pets. We perform recommended health testing and carefully match each puppy to the home best suited for them.
As a responsible Tennessee Labrador breeder, we are committed to bettering the breed through thoughtful, ethical breeding practices and early puppy development. We proudly place our Labrador puppies with families and hunters across Tennessee and surrounding states.

Submit Your Application
Applications are accepted year-round for current and future litters. Tell us about your lifestyle, preferences, and your desired puppy gender and color.
Approval & Litter Match
If approved, we’ll work together to determine which litter best suits your needs. You’ll submit the puppy contract and deposit agreement, and we’ll send an invoice for your deposit.
Puppy Selection
Puppies are matched based on your preferences and temperament. We do our best to accommodate gender and color requests.
Updates & Collar Colors
Each puppy is assigned a collar color for identification. You can follow your puppy’s growth through Facebook updates.
Pickup
The remaining balance is due at 8 weeks, when puppies go home.

From start to finish, their puppy selection process was flawless. I made the best decision possible: I shut up, stayed in my lane and let the pros handle it. And let me be clear—these are not “Facebook expert” pros… these are the real deal. Don’t overthink it. They matched us with our girl, Coda—and she is on a completely different level. Beautiful, incredibly healthy, perfectly tempered, and so naturally smart it almost feels unfair to other dogs. This isn’t luck. This is what happens when people actually know what they’re doing and refuse to cut corners. The entire experience was smooth, educational, zero stress—and honestly just a blast. They were supportive, accommodating, and walked us through everything like professionals who truly care about their dogs and the families they go to. We couldn’t be more pleased with Muletown Labradors! Stephanie was so great to work with bringing our boy from TN to OR. He’s working towards gaining his Master Hunter title but got his Junior in 2025 and has been a really fun dog to own. Can’t go wrong with Muletown!

I cannot say enough great things about Stephanie. From the very beginning, I knew she was the right person in choosing a dog for our family. Her communication is great and she has great knowledge in what she does. She’s also passionate about her pups which is so appreciative. We’ve had our puppy for 5 months and we can tell a huge difference in other people’s experiences with other breeders. Stephanie starts them on crate and potty training as well loving on them to make great family dogs. A huge plus is she recommended an amazing trainer. Truly a great experience and still a great relationship with her. We are so grateful we found her!

Amazing!! The process was so easy. I got my Maxamillion in 2024 and even now in 2026 I still get messages asking how he’s doing and how we are adjusting to a new puppy! She even answered questions I had about having a lab in general. I trust her so much and know for a fact I got a good dog. Max gets so much love for how well bred he is and what a great duck dog he is going to be.

We are so glad that we found Stephanie. From the very beginning she took the time to chat with me on the phone and go over all of the ins and outs of the puppy process. I told her exactly what we were looking for: a loving family dog. And that is exactly what we received. We were matched with a beautiful baby girl. At 9 weeks old, she is one of the most intelligent puppies I’ve ever met. Stephanie began the potty training process on her own and I SO appreciated that. We look forward to seeing her little personality shine and enjoy her loving companionship.

Could not recommend Stephanie & Muletown Labs enough!! I did a ton of research and asking around when trying to find a breeder we trusted and feel incredibly confident referring anyone to Muletown. Our fox red lab has been home with us since the beginning of April and everything Stephanie mentioned about him when taking our preferences and desires for the dog has been true (and as an added bonus, he came to us 90% potty trained!!).
