Welcome to

Muletown Labradors!

We are a small kennel in southern Middle Tennessee. Our first Labrador retriever, Bandit, fueled the fire to our passion for breeding labs. He is the reason behind it all! We were so impressed with his ability in the field, and at home that we wanted others to have this same experience with a dog. We then bought our female, Riley, and she has continued to impress us with this breed. She has been a true gem, as she not only has duck hunting history, but also shed hunting! We are expecting to grow more this year, as we will be adding new dogs to our pack. Stick around, and follow us on our journey. This is just the beginning, folks!

how to go about buying a pup

how the process works

We will try to make the process of picking a pup, purchasing a pup, and picking up your pup as EASY as possible. Once we confirm a litter, we will start accepting applications. In the application, we will ask a few questions to make sure this breed and lifestyle will be the right fit for you. We will also ask what gender and color you are looking for. If your application is approved, we will notify you either email or phone. You will then send a $200 non-refundable deposit that goes towards the total of the pup. We will then match you to your gender, and color (if possible, and any changes will be discussed with you). We pick the pup based on your preference, and temperament of the puppy. Once your exact puppy is arranged, we will let you know collar color. Each puppy will be assigned a different color, and this is how we distinguish each one. We will continue to post updates of the pups via Facebook. The remainder of the price of the puppy will be due on pick up day at 8 weeks.

Riley

Riley is our chocolate female that weighs about 57 lbs. She is always eager to please, and willing to do what it takes to get a "good girl" and pat on the head. This makes her so valuable to us inside the home, and also out. She is the lover of the house, and is the babysitter of the children. Please select the links below to see health testing, and pedigree

Bandit

Bandit is our male who weighs about 70 lbs. He does what it takes to get that "dead bird". He lives and breathes retrieving, and whole heartedly loves every minute of it, even if that means extreme weather. He is our gentle giant, and you will often find him with kids jumping all over him. Kira

Kira is our fox red female that weighs 55 lbs. She has a smaller stature, but is masculine. She has recently earned her AKC junior hunter title, with a breeze at that. We will continue with her journey, as the sky is the limit with her. Kira stays ready to be called to the line, but has the most gently soul you will find. Most days, you will find her swimming in the dog pool after her mid day couch nap, to training hard in the evening. Her on/off switch continues to impress me every single day.
